Body Drag: step by step

1. Spread your arms and head slightly upwind. Unhook and sink down

2. Keeping weight on the boom place your front leg in the water first and then the back leg. Hold the rig close to your body

3 and 4. Drag from your shins - not your torso - ironically. Your body goes out to the side as you press down through the front arm to bear away. Stay 'light'
5. Pull on your back hand to bring the rig upright and draw up your legs. Bring your back leg up first and move your head towards the mastfoot as in a waterstart

6. Typically one foot lands between the straps the other in front of the straps

7 and 8. Stay low and look forward to power up
