At our Volare Windsurf Centre in Tarifa, Spain, we see a lot of equipment for all abilities of rider come through our doors. But when the SUPer range of Starboards arrived we were inspired to go on a journey of discovery, and appreciate a new level of love for the sport that's open to both beginners and advanced windsurfers alike.
These aren't just SUPs that can be used to sail or windsurfers that can be used to paddle - they're adaptable boards specifically designed to be used as both for beginners, kids and masters of the sport. A small retractable dagger board helps you reach secret coves and creeks you never knew existed on light wind days, yet a world of planing, mellow wave rides or gentle freestyle sail tricks awaits as well. We couldn't think of any locations as versatile as these boards bar Tarifa and my home nation of Venezuela.
